About Me

This website is where my online portfolio will live. I launched it September of 2012 and hope to make it much more complete in the future. I am trying to better myself as a teacher in a number of ways, including word walls, smart boards, and graphing calculators. I am impressed with what can be done with dynamic geometry software. My current teaching homepage: http://efitton.net is my conduit for sharing applets I have created with GeoGebra, a free dynamic geometry application.

I am a seventh year teacher. The last five years I have been at Bellevue Junior/Senior High. Previously, I spent two years at Benton Harbor High School. I did a full year internship at Holt High School while attending Michigan State University for my teaching certificate. Before attending MSU I attended Alma College where I earned my bachelors of science in mathematics and computer science. After Alma I worked in both the actuarial field and computer programming before I realized that my true calling is teaching.
